Magic Lessons #16 – Win a Coin Toss

Magic Lessons #16 – Win A Coin Toss Every Time Trick

Coin Toss Hand - Win a Coin Toss - Magic Lessons #16 - Magic Tricks for KidsIt’s easy to Win a Coin Toss every time when you know how.

There are 2 things that you have to do to make this happen… but it’s pretty easy to control these.

  1. You must toss the coin.
  2. You must use a particular type of coin. The good news is that it is just an everyday coin that you can usually find in your friend’s pile of change from their pocket (in any country).

You flip the coin – the higher and faster and with more spins to make it look even fairer to your friend who you are challenging.

You can keep doing this until the cows come home (that’s an old saying that means you can keep on doing it on and on…) but you don’t want to over do it. Do 5 throws in a row, maybe ten. If you do more than that, the friend you are challenging will likely fall asleep of boredom.

This is a great little magic trick to ease yourself into your magic and possibly win you some bets.

Do you have all sorts of worries about getting people to watch your magic tricks? Do you find it difficult to approach people? Well, this is one of those terrific little ice breakers that you can use.

When you are thinking of showing your magic to someone, just chat for a few minutes first, then ask them if they would like to see something that’s sort of intriguing. So far you haven’t even mentioned a magic trick and most people will give you a chance to show them something that might interest them. That’s where this “Win a Coin Toss” trick comes in handy.

Get your coin out and flip it up and down in your hands a bit, sort of playful. Tell them that you have found that you can successfully predict the outcome of a coin toss every time.

Tell them you are currently on 28 tosses in a row where you have made the correct guess. Would they like to see you try for number 29? Most people will happily play along with you if you approach this in a light hearted manner.

Then as you go to toss the coin, stop and say this… Ask them if you could predict 5 out of 5 coin flips in a row, can you show them a favourite magic trick of yours? Now again, most people will play along with this and you are set to have a bit of fun with your magic. The only thing now is to win the coin toss five times. That’s why you are watching this win a coin toss video.

Watch the video and you will understand what this next paragraph means.

You are going to have to go through the currency of the country that you live in and find the best coins. Generally newer coins work better. Older coins will have worn smooth over time on both sides.

Watch The Coin Toss Video Then Use These Extra Tips If You Need Them:

The face of a winner

Which ever side you feel with your thumb, you just ‘call’ the opposite side. So if you feel smooth (heads), you call ‘tails’ … if you feel rough (tails), you call ‘heads’.

Can’t find the right coin? Don’t do it then. Some Magic Tricks For Kids viewers have asked what happens if someone demands that you use their coin? Just don’t do it. Remember that this is not an important magic trick, it’s just a quick bit of fun. If your friends can’t handle that, then just smile and walk away. Seriously, it’s not worth the effort.

How to win a coin toss will give you a lot of fun over the years.
